FASOLA 2024 - First edition
FASOLOA is a community and cultural event celebrating the rich traditions, arts, music, and heritage of Africa, with a special focus on Burkina Faso. The festivals' second edition will be held this year on August 1st 2026 in Vista, California . Inspired by the spirit of Burkina Faso’s cultural festivals and heritage celebrations, FASOLOA offers a unique opportunity to discover African culture, support local artists and entrepreneurs, and celebrate diversity in our community. AMBUCAS’s mission is to strengthen unity, solidarity, and fellowship among Burkinabè living in Southern California while promoting the culture, heritage, and visibility of Burkina Faso.
At its core, AMBUCAS is about family, love, compassion, and mutual support. We believe in building a strong and caring community where members look out for one another, celebrate together, and lend a helping hand during times of need. Through our activities and programs, we strive to instill in our children the values of character, solidarity, kindness, empathy, respect, and service to others.

AMBUCAS brings together families, friends, neighbors, and community partners to create meaningful connections and opportunities for cultural exchange, education, recreation, and community engagement. Through cultural celebrations, social gatherings, charitable initiatives, and partnerships, we foster a sense of belonging and encourage active participation in strengthening our community.

We are also committed to supporting vulnerable populations, particularly children in Burkina Faso, through educational, humanitarian, and community development initiatives. By building bridges between California and Burkina Faso, we promote lasting cooperation, preserve our cultural heritage, and inspire future generations to make a positive impact both locally and abroad.
Together, we celebrate our roots, support one another, and work toward a brighter future for our families, our communities, and the children we serve.
